The project that I made to share with you is a recipe book that I made out of a notebook I bought at the dollar store. I have made these in the past for gifts. I also sew and usually give it with a homemade reversible apron. They are always very well received! I have one that I use to record only my favourite recipes in that I go to often. I like the idea of all of my favourites in one handy place. I also think it will be neat to someday pass this well worn book on.

Got Too Many Books?

When Brian and I moved in together we discover that I had one of us had way too many books! I love to collect them but more often then not never read a book twice (there are way too many great books out there to re-read stories, I want to read them all)! I came up with a solution. I would only keep the books that I absolutely loved! There was just one problem...how would I remember all the books I read and what I thought about them? That is when this altered notebook came into being. I print off the cover of the book and the back blurb then I fix them into this notebook along with my thoughts/opinions about the book and give it a star rating. Altered Notebooks

Hello Everyone,
Here are some altered notebooks I made for a couple of friends for their combined baby shower. They were super easy to do and inexpensive because I got the books at the dollarstore and then used used stickers and buttons I already had. A quick, easy and budget friendly gift idea! I also looked up baby quotes online and wrote one every few pages and decorated around them with stickers! Sorry about the picture quality I am not feeling 100% and was in a hurry so I didn't check the pictures on the camera before I uploaded them and well this is what I ended up with.
