Birthday Sundaes Challenge #19

Hello Bloggers,
This week the Birthday Sundaes challenge was to create a card using a inspiration photo. Click here to see the photo. As soon as I saw it the shark fin stuck out at me. I had a lot of fun embellishing and adding all the little details to this card. Wait until you see the rest of the DT inspiration this week. They are all wonderful! Head over to the Birthday Sundaes blog and check them out for yourself and then get crafty!

Next week is going to be a special week on Birthday Sundaes because we are going to be having a blog hop to celebrate the new DT and to say farewell to some of the current DT. Hope you can join in the fun this week and next!

My birthday card from Brian

Hi Everyone,
I was so excited to post yesterday because I wanted to tell you everything I got for my birthday but also I wanted to show you the card Brian had made for me. I guess I was a tad too excited about the gifts because I didn't realize until this morning when I was checking my comments that I never even mentioned the card and that was the best part lol. Well, here it is in all of it's Cricut glory...a truly man made card!

And this was my favourite part :)

The Pink Stamper NSD Challenge # 8

Me again :)
This was one of my favourite challenges from Saturday. This challenge was to make a project with a summer theme. Again I made an 8 x 8 scrapbook page for a baby girl. Actually, it is two 8 x 8 pages to make a spread!  Here it is with the details below:
Tara

Details:
Cricut Cuts:
Life is a Beach Cartridge: Play 3" (I cut it out a few times and made my own layers), Sandcastle 3", Balls 3"
Create a Critter: Sun 2"

Little Red Wagon Callenge # 46

Hello Crafters,
The other day I found a new (to me) challenge site and when I read that their theme was "stars" I got very excited as there has been this piece of scrap paper in my bin for a while now that I was dying to use but could not get inspired to. (Do you ever hoard those great scraps because you want to make just the perfect project with them but then you never seem to do anything with it)! Well, I decided I wanted to use it and here is what I came up with..... loves it!
Happy Crafting!
Tara

Recipe:
All papers are from my scrap bin - I think the pink base is Bazzill Cardstock and the Star pattern paper is from a DCWV stack I am pretty sure
The skull - cut from Life is a Beach
Pen - Staples brand
Ribbon - offray
Bling - Dollarama
Mini Flower - Left over from my Create-a-critter hippo cut :)

The trip was three years ago but it was one of those things I never got around to. It is my first scrapbook that I have completely done start to finish since getting my cricut and I love the way it turned out. (I hope you like it Cassie, can't wait until you visit and I can show it to you in person)! Sorry it is cut off guys....this blog thing is harder then it looks :s If anyone can help me please leave a comment!

Here are the first cards I ever created. I made tem to take with us on our trip to Cuba in March as thanks yous for the staff at our resort. I used my Life is a Beach Cartridge and used the card feature included on it. I used 8.5 by 11 paper and used the set paper size button and then fit to page feature on my cricut expression. They were all cut out at 7". I nipped and pasted some of my own alterations so what you see might not be exactly what was cut on the machine. The cards fit in a standard size card envelope. They turned out really cute!
