You Had Me At Craft Guest Designer Lala-Palooza

Hello Crafters,
I am so excited to share with you that today I am a Guest Designer on You Had Me At Craft! How fabulous is that?!!! For my guest designer project I created a thankful mini album. On here I am posting the pictures that are left over from my post there (there were just too many photos for one post and I didn't want to bore her followers lol) If you would like to know more about how I made this book and to see the rest of the photos head on over to Alex's blog You Had Me At Craft.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Tara
P.S. Thanks again Alex!

Re-do!

Hi Everyone,
Recovering the seat of chairs is something I have done a few times in the past to make hand-me-down furniture look a little more lively but I have never taken on a job quite this big and in this bad of shape before. My brothers gf was here the other day and we decided to attack this chair. It has seen just about everyone's butt in my family over the years and well it was starting to show it's hard work lol. I think it turned out awesome!!! I got the material I covered it in at Frenchy's (a used clothing store) and I got enough to do ten chairs for $5. Not a bad deal eh? I am going to link this up to I made it Myself Monday over on the You Had me At Craft blog. (I think this counts...I re-made it)!
Happy Crafting!

Justwordz DT Friday!

Hi Crafters,

This week for the Justwordz DT we were asked to make a sympathy project. Can you believe I have never made a sympaty card before? I guess it doesn't hurt to have one on hand. If you have been following me for a while you are probably thinking this creation is not really my style at all. I mean really there is not a stitch of pink or purple on this card! I am not sure what came over me the other day when I created this but I think it turned out wonderful in the end!

Details:
A2 size card
Cardstock: Recollections and Staples Brand white base
Patterned paper: DCWV
Cricut Cut: Home Decor Cartridge cut @ 3"
Sentiment: Justwordz Everyday Sentiments Set
Ribbon: Dollarama
Baubles: hand dyed by me!

Don't forget to head over to the Justwordz blog and check out the rest of the DT creations made with the Everyday Sentiments stamp set! Plus, Kim is having a DT call and you know you want a chance to get your hands on some of her habulous stamps! There is also an added bonus for the next term but I am not going to spoil that for you, you will just have to check out all the details on her blog Justwordz.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone and happy crafting!

Hi everyone and welcome,
I am so excited that today is World Card Making Day and that I am spending it at a crop!! Woo Hoo! I hope you are gaining lots of inspiration from all across Canada today. If you have arrived here from Jill at  http://jillelizabethsarginson.blogspot.com/ then you are right on track! If you have just happened along my blog today and would like to start at the beginning of our blog hop then you want to click here. Our hop today is actually divided into two parts so you can choose to do one now and one later or hop on through the entire thing at once.

Because we are not only celebrating World Card Making Day but also the fact that this is an all Canadian blog hop today we are all featuring projects made with products from Canadian companies. The Canadian companies I used today are Bugaboo Digital Stamps and Justwordz Stamps. Both of these companies are fabulous and I use them often!

I also used some of my homemade baubles on this card and would love to give one of you a set. All you need to do is be a follower and leave me a comment on this post for your chance to win this.....
