Baby Boy Banner

Hi Crafters,
Well, I am not sure why but blogger was not letting me post any pictures earlier in the week saying I was out of storage space and when I looked into it I still had 63% left and now all of a sudden it works again..... I'll keep posting I guess until it tries to mess with me again!

I am so excited to share with you a project I created on Sunday! It is for a special little guy I know! He is almost 2 months old and such a cutie pie! He room is done in a John Deere theme. His Daddy is a farmer ;) I noticed last time we went to visit the walls in his room where a little blank so I decided to help fix that! What do you think?! I can't wait to go visit again and hang this banner up! I just know baby and Daddy will love it. I can already hear the request for one for Jeremy's garage now lol.
Happy Crafting!

National Scrapbooking Day?!

Hi Crafters,
So I must admit I sort of missed National Scrapbook Day this year. I was busy all day yesterday with errands and my sister in-laws wedding shower (clearly she is not a scrapbooker or she would have realized the holiday she was interfering with lol). I did get a chance in the evening to spend a few minutes in my craft room but only long enough to bind a booklet I have been working on. I will be teaching a class on this booklet next weekend. Here are some sneak peek photos and I'll be sure to show you the actually book next weekend after the class.

I did get some time in my craft room this afternoon and even fired up my poor neglected Cricut! I just love the project I created but it is too dark to take photos right now so I'll share that another day.
Happy Crafting!

Another scraplifted idea

Hi Crafters,
Here is another card I created over March Break when I was MIA. It was a card that I scraplifted from a picture I found on the internet. Sorry I don't know the source right now. Don't you just love how elegant black and white cards look!?

8 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop

Hi Crafters,
I'm back!!! I enjoyed my break very much but I missed blogland and all my crafty friends! Thanks to everyone who sent me sweet comments and emails over the past month. I loved hearing from all of you! Today is a special day...not only am I posting again but I am also taking part in a blog hop! The 8 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop. I am the last stop on the blog hop so if you would like to start at the beginning you will want to head to Georgiana's blog. Each person on the hop today has created 2 Christmas cards to share (one colouring an image and one using a die cut). We will have this blog hop once a month all year! Just think of all the Christmas cards I am going to be able to make in advance this year. I will be so less stressed come December :)  I hope you have enjoyed the blog hop today and are inspired to start your own Christmas cards earlier this year. They truly are fun to make all year round! Below are the two Christmas cards I made this month.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

Needed a little break from Blogland

Hi Crafters,
Sorry I was not around this week. I just needed a little break. I was trying to really decided if I wanted to continue this blog thing. It is a lot of work to maintain a blog and I have not really been getting those happy vibes from blogland lately. I'm not sure I can give my blog my all anymore but at the same time I am not sure I am 100% ready to give it up just yet. I love the idea of having a record of my crafting adventures and it is really neat to look back and see how I have grown as a crafter. I also LOVE meeting fellow crafters online and sharing ideas.

I will be heading on my Honeymoon on Monday to Jamaica so I will be gone again for week but I have been working on a few things over my March break that I will share when I get back.

Here is one card I made this week. I saw a very similar one online (I think it was on splitcoaststampers) and scraplifted the idea changing it up just a bit so I could use the supplies I had. That will have to hold you over until I get back with my tan ;)
Happy Crafting!

Babies, babies, everywhere!

Hi Everyone,
Here is yet another baby card I had to make for a shower recently. (I really need to get some done in advance so I am not always whipping them up the morning of the shower). I used the wrapping paper as my inspiration. Doesn't it just go so nicely? I was almost sad to have to put the card in an envelope lol.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Tara
P.S. today is the start of my March Break here in NS, Canada so you know what that means....finally some time in my favourite place...my scrapbooking room!
