This week on Birthday Sundaes the challenge is to make a birthday card with embossing on it!
For my card I used a base that I had started at a Stampin' up party. We embossed it with a Stampin' up folder and then we used a sponge to link the embossing up. It was really quite neat to start to see the embossing really take shape with the colour. My technique needs some work but I think this will be something I try again in the future. As for the little butterflies I used my new Sizzix Embosslits folder called beautiful wings. I ordered this from Stampin' up. The party was the first time I saw something that cut and embossed all in one step and lets just say I was in love :) Thanks for checking out my card and the rest of the details will be listed below it if there is something you are wondering about.
Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams cards and then once you are inspired get to crafting and show us your embossed creations!
Happy Crafting!
Tara

Very pretty. A SU party sounds like it would be fun. I am afraid I would spend too much!
I like your embossing. I'm especially fond of Butterflies. I first learned embossing with a brass template, stylus & a light box and occassionally still emboss that way.
