Hi everyone,
It's time for a new challenge at Birthday Sundaes. The challenge this week is Anything Goes Birthday. We have a sponsor this week. Stef from Glitterbabe Digis is offering a $10 gift certificate. I used one of her digis called "love vase" for my card.
I also did a neat technique for one of my mats. I made the mat from scraps of paper in a patchwork quilt fashion and then ran the entire thing through my Cuttlebug. I really like the effect! Here is a link that I viewed recently with some really aweome quilting with paper examples I have not been working with my scraps a lot lately because many of the projects I have been working on required larger sheets of paper but I am still on my mission to keep that scrap pile smaller after putting such a big dent in it with all those scrap cards and 8x8 layouts I was making. I proabably won't be posting as many scrap projects now but I still have a few ideas I want to try. If you are a new follower or missed some just click on my "using up the scraps" label on my sidebar and they should all be there.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!
Tara

Fab card! Love your pretty patchwork effect :o) Lisa x
Very cute! Love the patchwork!
Gorgeous! The texture of all that embossing is simply divine & your coloring gives even more depth. Even in the photograph it really is popping out so I can't even imagine how stunning it is in person :)
Well first off, I love all the pink!! And how you used a non-traditional birthday image. Great use of your scraps - I will have to try that with the embossing. The new Paper Crafts has quite a few cards made with scraps - one of these days I will start using mine up!
