Stampin' Up cards

Hi Crafters,
Recently I attended a Stampin' Up event and I got to play with some of the products in the new mini catalogue. Below are the cards we made. I just love the simplicity that often comes with Stampin' Up Demo, creations! Clean and simple who doesn't love that lol!

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #45

Hi Crafters,
This week the challenge at Birthday Sundaes is awesome! The challenge is to 'get messy'! (use your mists, inks, etc.) Who doesn't love getting messy!

For this weeks challenge I pulled out some markers I have that you blow into the end of and they give you this neat splattered/spray look. I first cut some die cuts out using my Cricut and then attached them with some double sided tape. Once I sprayed the background I peeled off the die cuts and then sprayed my card again in a different colour. I really love the effect this gives!

Check out my inspiration card for you below and then head over to the Birthday Sundaes blog to see the rest of the DT creations. After that head into your craft area and make a mess, then lastly post your card creation for us to see!
Happy 'messy' crafting!
Tara

This was the first card I created using just two colours.

Then I got a great idea and thought what if I just peel some of the die cuts off at time and use multiple colours. LOVE IT!

JustWordz DT Friday!

Hi Crafters, Are you ready for another dose of JustWordz inspiration? This week not only did I use JustWordz stamps I also used an image from Redonkulous Designs. These two stamp lines pair up so nicely together. Okay honestly, JustWordz pair up nicely with anything from a stamped image to a Cricut cut because there are endless sentiments you can create with them!

I try something different this week on my card. I wanted the dress to be white but well you can't actually colour in white (well maybe you can but not on white paper lol) I instead used a Versamark pen, Heat and Stick powder and loose Ice Glitter. It didn't turn out exactly how I pictured but not bad and it was super fast to do! You should see her dress shine in real life!

Make sure you stop by the JustWordz blog and check out the rest of the DT creations!
Happy Crafting!

Hi Crafters,
Wow, when the challenge went up for Birthday Sundaes this week I can say it was a true challenge for me. As I have said before I am a 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 kinda gal and this one threw me for a loop! The challenge is to create a 'Stair Step (or side step, center step) card.' I rose to the challenge though! Below is the card I have created for this weeks inspiration. To see some more great inspiration check out the rest of the DT at the Birthday Sundaes blog. Also, double and triple check the rules this week to make sure you are following them as I would hate for you not to be in the running for the fabulous prize up for grabs. This week we are sponsored by Stamp Fairy!

More Cricutized wedding!

Hi Crafters,
I am so excited to share this project with you today! I think this was one of my favourite wedding decorations and I made them! Well, with the help of a very nice friend ;) I was actually really flatter that all but 5 of my table numbers disappeared throughout the night lol. I am glad everyone enjoyed them as much as I did! I am sorry I didn't write everything down but I know that I used Design Studio to help me plan these out and I was able to cut two out of a sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock. I think the base shape is from Create-a-Critter or it might be from Accent Essentials. The flowers are for sure from Accent Essentials. So they would stand up on their own I used the same idea as an easel card and it worked perfectly!
Happy Crafting!
