Hi Crafters,
Welcome to the countdown to Christmas Blog Hop! Have you already got a good dose of Christmas inspiration? If you have arrived from Kerry's blog then you are right on track. If you would like to start from the beginning then you want to head to Shari's blog.
This month our theme was to create two Christmas projects with an animal on them. For some reason this month I was stumped. I knew I had lots of Cricut cartridges with Christmas animals on them but I was not in a Cricut mood (poor thing is starting to feel neglected I am sure). Instead I dug through my stamps and it was then I discovered I indeed had animals stamps and on top of that ones that had been yet to be inked. Doesn't it feel good to use something you bought forever ago. Totally justifies the purchase even if it is months later lol. I did have to do a little internet searching on these stamps to get the juices flowing. I scraplifted a couple ideas and in the end even used my Cricut for a layer(not so neglected after all).
Your next stop is Sally's blog. Enjoy the rest of the hop and happy crafting!

P.S. Only 9 weeks until baby arrives :)

9 Months to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Crafters,
Welcome to the countdown to Christmas Blog Hop! Are you ready for a hop filled with Christmas inspiration! If you have arrived from Kerry's blog then you are right on track. If you would like to start from the beginning then you want to head to Shari's blog.
This month our theme was to create two Christmas projects using mostly the colour green. As soon as I read this theme the Grinch flashed into my mind! I just knew one of my projects would include this famous Christmas character! Below my cards are the details for both.
We also have a guest designer this month, Sandy. She is the last stop on the hop so be sure to check her out too!
Your next stop is Sally's blog. Have a wonderful hop and remember getting a early start on your Christmas cards feels awesome!
Happy Crafting!

10 Months to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Crafters,
It's that time of the month again...the 25th! Which means a countdown to Christmas blog hop filled with Christmas inspiration! I have so much fun each month making two Christmas cards. If you have arrived from Kerry's blog then you are right on track. If you would like to start from the beginning then you want to head to Shari's blog.
This month our theme was to create two cards using the colours red/white and one other colour. For my first card I used mostly white and red and added just the smallest touch of silver with my bell. On my second card I went totally traditional and did red/white/green. The details for both of my cards are listed below them.
We also have a guest designer this month, Janis from - http://pausedreamenjoy.blogspot.com/ She is the last stop on the hop so be sure to check her out too!
Your next stop is Sally's blog. Have a wonderful hop and if you have created any Christmas cards lately leave me a link I would love some fabulous inspiration from you!

11 Months to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Crafters,
I am excited to announce that I have joined the fun again this year for the monthly count down to Christmas blog hops. I had a lot of fun creating Christmas cards year long last year and look forward to doing it again. I do have a confession though...not only did I create Christmas cards all year, I also taught a series of 4 Stampin' Up Christmas card classes but in the end I didn't end up sending out one single Christmas card! I was dealing with my (all day) morning sickness from the beginning of November until the end of December and truly not in the holiday spirit. The good news is I will super prepared next year lol. More good news is that my monring sickness has finally subsided and I have been back in my craft room a bit lately.
Well, I best be letting you get on with your hop, LOL. If you have arrived from Kerry's blog you are right on track, if not and you would like to start at the beginning you want to head to Shari's blog. This year we changed things up a bit and each month has a theme. This month the theme was snow. I stretched it a bit by just justing snowflakes on my cards! Below are the cards I created this month and the details are listed below them. We also have a guest designer this month the very talented Nikki from Limited Run Digital Stamps.
Your next stop is Georgiana's blog. Enjoy the hop and happy crafting!

1 Month to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Crafters,
Can you believe that title?! It is soooo close...are your cards done yet? I am so glad I committed to this year round hop for 2012. This is the first year that I feel like I am not in a total rush to get my Christmas cards done and in the mail. Okay, well, they are not in the mail yet lol but soon ;) .
If you are hopping along today you should have arrived from Georgiana's blog. If you missed the start, the fun starts at Heather's blog.
Thanks for stopping by and happy last month before the holidays :)

2 Months to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Crafters,
If you have arrived from Heather's blog you are right on track. If you have just happened upon my blog and would like to complete this hop from the beginning head to Mary's blog.
If you are a follower of mine you might have noticed that I have taken a bit of a break from blogland. I can't even begin to tell you how busy my life as been lately. There is just so much going on it is all I can do to keep up. I took last month off from the countdown to Christmas blog hop but I'm back this month and so excited to show you some of the cards I have been working on in my new craft room.
I know, I know I still have yet to post pictures of my room but I have been waiting until I am totally done organizing in there (yeah right, do we ever truly finish? lol)! Seriously, though I keep changing things around trying to get the flow better. Soon though, I promise I will take the time and show you my favourite room in our new house!
Here are the cards I created for this month's blog hop:
I hope you are having as much fun making your Christmas cards as I am. Both these were ideas that I saw online and changed up a bit to suit my tastes and supplies. Your next stop on this hop is Georgiana's blog!

4 Months to Chirstmas Blog Hop
Hi Everyone and welcome to the 4 Months to Christmas Blog Hop,
If you have arrived here from Kerry's Blog you are in the right spot. Well, my craft room is still not up and running since the big move (there were just too many renos we needed to work on first) but like I said last month I am the queen of planning ahead! I was able to get my summer Christmas cards (that does not sound right, I know lol) done before I had to pack up my old scrapbooking room mid July!
If you are new you might be wondering how this whole blog hop works.... there is a group of us crafters that have committed to creating two Christmas cards and (one die cut and one stamped image) posting them on the 25th each month and boy are we getting our cards done early and I LOVE it!
Thanks for stopping by today. Sara's Blog blog is your next stop.

Scraps Card
Hi Bloggers,
I have really been in the mood to use up some scraps lately. Maybe with the idea of moving soon on my mind I am trying to use up things so I don't have to pack/move it lol. I have zillions of strips of paper for some reason and those are the scraps that I have the hardest time using up. I have tried everything from organizing them to leaving them right on my desk but they always seem to multiply faster then I can use them up. It is my mission to get the pile down to a nice size in the near future! The card below is my first step! Don't you just love the bright colours...reminds me that summer is on it's way!
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges/link parties:
Joyful Stamper - Inspire me Fridays
Crafty Catz Weekly challenge - Summer time (I think my bright summer colours work)
Hiding in my craftroom - Super Scraps Saturday
Happy Crafting!

Purple Elegance
Hi Crafters,
Just a quick post today to show you a new Stampin' Up card I made. It is so super simple and yet I love it! The best part....I think this is one of the first ever cards that I have made with no ribbon in sight! It is also a nice flat card that would be perfect for mailing! I kept the sentiment general this time so it can be a go to card and pretty much be used for any occasion.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty boots challenges - Anything goes
Make it Monday - Anything goes
stamps fun creativity - bling bling
Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

Scraps Wedding Card
Hi Crafters,
My aunt recently got married so of course I made a card for the occasion. I used a technique that I have used for a few cards in the past and a great way to use up scraps.

7 Months to Christmas Blog Hop
Hi Everyone and welcome to the 7 Months to Christmas Blog Hop,
If you have arrived here from Heather you are in the right spot. If you want to start at the beginning then head to Heather's Blog. I can't believe how fast each month this year is going. It seems like we just did the April Blog Hop and here we are again! I am so glad that I am going to have a great start (maybe even finish) on my Christmas cards before the holidays actually hit this year. If you are new you might be wondering how this works.... there is a group of us crafters that have commited to creating two Chirstmas cards and posting them on the 25th each month. I can't take credit for this idea, it started with just Heather and Shari and have turned into this amazing Blog Hop every month.
This month I cheated a wee bit....we are suppose to each month create one card using a die cut and one with a stamped image that we coloured in. Well, since I love stamping and sometimes my stamped images don't need to be coloured in I figured I would sneak it in! My stamped card is yet another scraplifted idea (why make up my own when there are so many fab Stampin' Up cards out there lol. I did change up the colours a bit though) I am really trying hard to use all the supplies that I have on hand and I just feel that lately my poor stamps have been getting neglected. I dusted off my Stampin' Up doily set and have been stamping up a storm with them! This is currently my new favourite set because it is just so stinkin' vesitile!
Okay okay enough gibber gabber I'll let you move on to your next stop!
Head on over and see Shari next!
Happy Crafting!
Tara
P.S. I heard a rumor that next month is the half way to Christmas mark on the calendars and to celebrate there might be some blog hop candy during the 6 months to Christmas blog hop....be sure to stop by...just saying ;)

A Stampin' Up Scraplifted Card
Hi Crafters,
I finally got a few pictures taken tonight of cards that I have made recently. Here is one that I made for a class I taught recently. This card is scraplifted but I have been terrible about writing the sources down lately. I just save the picture to my computer to attempt later and totally forget where it came from. Do you have a system for this that works for you? If so let me in on your secret because I need help here.
Anyways, I feel right in love with the original to this card which is weird because the colours are not my usual at all and I would have never thought to even use them together to tell you the truth but seeing it all together it just works! I did change up a few things from the original so I could use the supplies I had on hand but I kept it for the most part the same.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forgot to pop back on Friday for another countdown to Christmas blog hop. (Can you believe it is almost the 25th again)!
Happy Crafting!

Remember Gus?
Hi Crafters,
Remember Gus? Well....I played some more.... I just love changing up the colours!!! It is so awesome to see how the same image and same layout can change so much by just changing up the colours. What do you think? Do you do this too?

Another scraplifted idea
Hi Crafters,
Here is another card I created over March Break when I was MIA. It was a card that I scraplifted from a picture I found on the internet. Sorry I don't know the source right now. Don't you just love how elegant black and white cards look!?

Needed a little break from Blogland
Hi Crafters,
Sorry I was not around this week. I just needed a little break. I was trying to really decided if I wanted to continue this blog thing. It is a lot of work to maintain a blog and I have not really been getting those happy vibes from blogland lately. I'm not sure I can give my blog my all anymore but at the same time I am not sure I am 100% ready to give it up just yet. I love the idea of having a record of my crafting adventures and it is really neat to look back and see how I have grown as a crafter. I also LOVE meeting fellow crafters online and sharing ideas.
I will be heading on my Honeymoon on Monday to Jamaica so I will be gone again for week but I have been working on a few things over my March break that I will share when I get back.
Here is one card I made this week. I saw a very similar one online (I think it was on splitcoaststampers) and scraplifted the idea changing it up just a bit so I could use the supplies I had. That will have to hold you over until I get back with my tan ;)

Babies, babies, everywhere!
Hi Everyone,
Here is yet another baby card I had to make for a shower recently. (I really need to get some done in advance so I am not always whipping them up the morning of the shower). I used the wrapping paper as my inspiration. Doesn't it just go so nicely? I was almost sad to have to put the card in an envelope lol.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Tara
P.S. today is the start of my March Break here in NS, Canada so you know what that means....finally some time in my favourite place...my scrapbooking room!
