7 Months to Christmas Blog Hop

Hi Everyone and welcome to the 7 Months to Christmas Blog Hop,
If you have arrived here from Heather you are in the right spot. If you want to start at the beginning then head to Heather's Blog. I can't believe how fast each month this year is going. It seems like we just did the April Blog Hop and here we are again! I am so glad that I am going to have a great start (maybe even finish) on my Christmas cards before the holidays actually hit this year. If you are new you might be wondering how this works.... there is a group of us crafters that have commited to creating two Chirstmas cards and posting them on the 25th each month. I can't take credit for this idea, it started with just Heather and Shari and have turned into this amazing Blog Hop every month.

This month I cheated a wee bit....we are suppose to each month create one card using a die cut and one with a stamped image that we coloured in. Well, since I love stamping and sometimes my stamped images don't need to be coloured in I figured I would sneak it in! My stamped card is yet another scraplifted idea (why make up my own when there are so many fab Stampin' Up cards out there lol. I did change up the colours a bit though) I am really trying hard to use all the supplies that I have on hand and I just feel that lately my poor stamps have been getting neglected. I dusted off my Stampin' Up doily set and have been stamping up a storm with them! This is currently my new favourite set because it is just so stinkin' vesitile!

Okay okay enough gibber gabber I'll let you move on to your next stop!
Head on over and see Shari next!
Happy Crafting!
Tara
P.S. I heard a rumor that next month is the half way to Christmas mark on the calendars and to celebrate there might be some blog hop candy during the 6 months to Christmas blog hop....be sure to stop by...just saying ;)

Tara!

Both cards are so awesome! and just so you know, you so did not cheat - "INK" is a colour medium so you are totally safe!! LOL. I love that set from Stampin' Up, just have not broken down and bought it yet. I love how you layered the colours on your stamped card and the snow on your die cut tree is just perfect!

Great Job hun, so glad you are on this hop team with me =)

Hugs;
Shari

Beautiful cards Tara! I really like the die cut tree...perfect. All the colour you used on the stamped one more than makes up for colouring :)

Mary

Hi Tara, I like both cards, but what you did with the doilies stamp is great, thanks for joining us Holly Jolly, you should put both cards in as a separate picture into the challenge,at Holly Jolly, this way it gives you an extra chance at winning the digi stamps.
