Needed a little break from Blogland

Hi Crafters,
Sorry I was not around this week. I just needed a little break. I was trying to really decided if I wanted to continue this blog thing. It is a lot of work to maintain a blog and I have not really been getting those happy vibes from blogland lately. I'm not sure I can give my blog my all anymore but at the same time I am not sure I am 100% ready to give it up just yet. I love the idea of having a record of my crafting adventures and it is really neat to look back and see how I have grown as a crafter. I also LOVE meeting fellow crafters online and sharing ideas.

I will be heading on my Honeymoon on Monday to Jamaica so I will be gone again for week but I have been working on a few things over my March break that I will share when I get back.

Here is one card I made this week. I saw a very similar one online (I think it was on splitcoaststampers) and scraplifted the idea changing it up just a bit so I could use the supplies I had. That will have to hold you over until I get back with my tan ;)
Happy Crafting!
Tara

Such a pretty card, have a great time on your Honeymoon, Wish I was going to Jamica! Sit back relax, take lots of pictures and just think of all the scrapbooking you will have to do about your honeymoon.

I just love this card!!! I'm a SU Demonstrator and may have to try something with this color scheme. I know what you mean about blogs taking up so much time, it is definitely a challenge. Have a great time on your honeymoon!!

Have a WONDERFUL time on your honeymoon... Please continue to think about your blog, and don't give it up!!! You just have had alot on your plate lately, thats all! You are a very talented crafter and an inspiration to me. I've had my blog for a year and only have 36 followers! But thats ok, I enjoy all of it very much. Hugs, Dawn

Hi Tara,
I am so sorry you're feeling this way. I know what you mean though. I went through a huge crafting funk after the Craft Show I did last fall. I basically abandoned my blog for about 2 months. It's only been in the New Year that I became rejuvinated, and am now posting regularly. A little time away can be amazing.
We need to try to get together - I know, I said that last year, but we really do. I would love to do some crafting with you. Maybe an all day crop somewhere??
I hope you keep the blog going - I will miss seeing your creations if you don't :)
