Currently I am reading the Chicken Soup for the Scrapbooker's Soul. It is so uplifting and inspirational. The first section of the book was about the crazy obsession that some people have when it comes to scrapbooking. I kept shaking my head in agreement as I read through the hilarious stories of the lengths people go through when passion for this art takes over! I could totally relate to many of the stories and felt reassured there were others out there just like me :) I wish this section was longer! The follow sections are a bit more on the serious side and have stories about how scrapbooking as help many people through the good times and bad. (although cancer seems to be a common theme and wish it were a bit more diverse). I am about three quarters of the way through the book and am already wishing it was longer. I can only hope they get enough response from this one that they will make a second edition in the future. I highly recommend this book!
I am 28 year old subsitute teacher. I live with my understanding husband (he hardly ever complains about how much time I spend in my craft room)! My favorite pastime is scrapbooking and in the last year I have started card making. Which has become sort of an obsession I might add (who knew you could actually run out of scraps lol)
